WHO: An invitation to all interested parents and Cub Scout Leaders
WHAT: A one-day training event that introduces Cub Scout leaders and parents to the skills needed to plan and conduct pack outdoor activities, particularly pack camping.
Participants who complete this training course will:
Understand the focus of the Cub Scout level of the BSA outdoor program.
Gain the skills needed to plan and carry out a successful Cub Scout-level overnight activity.
Learn more about the resources available from the BSA for carrying out this activity.
This training is required for any adult who is in charge of planning a pack campout
WHERE: Keehi Lagoon Memorial (DAV), 2625 N. Nimitz Hwy.
WHEN: Saturday, March 1, 2014
Check-in at 7:30 Check-out at 3:00 p.m. Saturday
COST: $15.00 per person Registration Deadline is February 26, 2014
$20.00 Walk-Ins Lunch will be provided.
REQUIRED: Enthusiasm, willingness to learn, pen, pencils, paper. (optional Outdoor Chairs)
