Details:

This is a Cub Scout event hosted by the United States Army’s 25th Infantry Division (Light) and the Aloha Council, B.S.A. Cub Scouts participate in FUN and EXCITING activities involving, rope bridge crossing, Army vehicle rides, camouflage techniques and many more! This year’s theme will be Get Grit!. 

Private automobiles must be parked at designated areas.

There is a major, last minute notice due to changing circumstances. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and have worked to make arrangements as convenient as possible for all event attendees.

WE WILL NOT BE PARKING ON WHEELER OR SCHOFIELD!!!!

 

For all Cub Scouts ages 7-10. Tiger Cubs are welcome with adult partner for this event. Participation is limited to registered Cub Scouts, Friends and Den Chiefs.

Bring a Friend to Schofield Days and Enjoy Big Savings!

Aloha Council is excited to announce our new ‘Bring a Friend’ recruitment campaign. When your Cub Scout brings their friend to Schofield Days you both save. Have your friend bring a completed youth application to the event and you’ll both get completely free registration for Schofield Days!

Claiming this offer is easy. Just pre-register online and choose the ‘Bring a Friend’ price for your Cub and their friend. Don’t forget to have their application ready at the door! As a bonus, your Cub Scout will receive a special recruiter patch for their uniform at the door!

The event will be held on post at Schofield Barracks East Range

WHEN:

December 22, 2015 Kaala, Kapiolani , Ko Olina Districts 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

December 23, 2015 Kamehameha, Hukilau, Ko’olau Districts 7:00 AM – 12:00 Noon

* AGAIN: Please note that if you cannot make the date designated for your district you are more than welcome to sign up for the other Schofield Day offered*

  1. We will be parking in the main parking lot at Leilehua High School: 1515 California Ave, Wahiawa, HI 96786

  2. WE WILL NOT BE PARKING ON WHEELER OR SCHOFIELD!!!!

  3. Check in will still begin at 6:00am and the first set of busses will depart the Leilehua HS Parking lot at 6:30am. Our LAST busses will leave at 7:00am so that we may begin our program on time.

  4. Please bring your waiver forms and medical forms. We will be bussing EVERYONE to the event location.

  5. For Head Gear – A Bike Helmet is good to use. 

  6. Parents you are more than welcome to participate in the various stations there.

  7. We will have busses that will shuttle you from the parking lot to East Range! Theses busses will bring you back at 12:00 noon.

As a friendly reminder:

ADULT REQUIREMENTS:

B.S.A. National Health and Safety Standards require a minimum of two adults be present and participating for the first ten Cub Scouts attending. One additional adult is required for every five additional Cub Scouts attending.

WHAT TO BRING:

Headgear will be required to participate in some of the activities. Please come prepared!

Brown bag lunches to eat on the way home after leaving.

Reminder: It will be rainy, muddy, and cold! Please plan accordingly.

Be prepared for a lot of FUN in wet and muddy conditions.

Please bring a jacket. An umbrella is optional but is a good idea.

Adults, you can bring camp chairs to have a place to sit as you rotate through the various stations.

All Scouts and adults are required to wear closed toed shoes. Please check alohacouncilbsa.org for additional items you might want to bring. All Packs must check-in at the Registration Station upon arrival.

***New Waiver Form from Schofield Barracks- Complete waivers for both YOUTH and ADULTS. DO NOT put the youth and adult on the same waiver, they must be separate, and brought with you the day of the event.
