Which Service Area Are We In?
The Aloha Council serves 12 geographical areas across the Pacific including American Samoa and Guam. Each service area is also known as a "district" separated by boundaries as follows:
American Samoa – Entire boundary of territory islands of Tutuila, Aunu’u, Ofu, Olosega, Ta’u, Rose and Swains.
Chamorro – Entire island of Guam.
Hamakua/Kohala – Bordered by the village of Ookala to the east and the village of Waikoloa to the south. Includes the communities of: Hamakua, Hawi, Kapaau, Kawaihae, Kohala, Ookala, Paauhua, Paauilo, Poouhau, Waikoloa Village and Waimea.
Kona Coast – Bordered to the north below Waikoloa and to the south past Hookena and before Hawaiian ocean view (South Point). Includes the communities of: Captain Cook, Holualoa, Honaunau, Kailua-Kona, Kealakekua, Milolii, Hookena.
Pukahi – Bordered on the west just before Hookena and to the south past Hawaiian Ocean View (South Point) and before Hookena. Includes the communities of: Hakalau, Hilo, Honomu, Kurtistown, Laupahoehoe, Mt. View, Naalehu, Ninole, Ocean View, Pahala, Pahoa, Papaaloa, Papaikou.
Kauai – Island of Kauai
Kaala – Bordered on the west by Fort Weaver Road to Waihole Ditch, up the Kaala mountain range to Kaena Point, to the north to Pupukea Road on the North Shore and to Waimalu Stream to the east in Pearl City. Includes the communities of: Haleiwa, Kunia, Mililani, Schofield, Wahiawa, Waialua, Waipio, Wheeler, Pearl City, Waipahu, Newtown.
Kamehameha – Bordered on the west by the Waimalu Stream and Nuuanu Avenue to the east. Includes the communities of: Aiea, Chinatown, Halawa, Iwilei, Kalihi, Kapalama, Moanalua, Palama, Pearlridge, Puuhale, Salt Lake and Sand Island.
Kapiolani – Bordered on the west by Nuuanu Avenue and Sandy Beach to the east. Includes the communities of: Aina Haina, Ala Moana, Downtown, Hawaii Kai, Kahala, Kaimuki, Kakaako, Kapahulu, Makiki, Manoa, McCully, Moiliili, Niu Valley, Nuuanu, Palolo, Punchbowl, Waialae Ike, Waialae and Waikiki.
Koolau – Bordered by Kualoa Ranch to the north and Makapuu Point to the south. Includes the communities of: Kahaluu, Kahana Valley, Kailua, Kaneohe, Kualoa, Olomana, Waimanalo, and Waiahole.
Hukilau - Bordered by Pupukea Road to the north and Kualoa Ranch to the south. Includes the communities of: Hauula, Laie, Kaaawa, Kahuku, Punaluu, and Sunset Beach.
Ko Olina – Bordered on the east by Fort Weaver Road to Waihole Ditch, up the Kaala mountain range to Kaena Point. Includes entire Ewa Plain and Waianae Coast. Includes the communities of: Ewa Beach, Kapolei, Makakilo , Makaha, Nanakuli and Waianae.
